Ecological Us

The Ecological Us substack explores the ongoing enquiry: What opens up for us when we recognise ourselves as ecological creatures moving through a complex, relational, multigenerational, multicultural world?’ through a mixture of essays and circle recordings.

Areas explored include interbeing and complex relationality, the more-than-human, worldviews and cosmologies, co-created edges and wholeness, my work on ecological organisations and ecological enquiry.

The name ’Ecological Us’ reflects the multigenerational, multispecies, multicultural world we are weaved into through interbeing, place, neighbourhood, ecosystems, social systems, cultural stories, worldviews and cosmologies, histories, possible futures, the more-than-human, and this planet.

The name ’Ecological Us’ also holds the shift from a human centric perspective to a kin perspective, where we recognise how we and the more-than-human are co-creating this world together.

Ecological Us Network

While the Ecological Us Network sprouts from my work on ecological organisations and ecological enquiry, the Ecological Us Network is a free-to-join research and exchange network for anyone curious about or working with different framings and ideas of what it means to be ecological and how the recognition of 'being ecological' affects our thinking, being, and doing as individuals, groups, and organisations.

In the Ecological Us Network slack, I share updates about my work and introductions to ecological organisations and ecological enquiry. The Ecological Us Network is housed in Slack and is open to anyone that wants to participate.
